Bio-efficacy of Chemical Insecticides against Major Insect Pests of Mustard Applied through Seed Treatment

چکیده
Seed treatment application of chemical insecticides is getting popularity in the management insect-pest population. The present investigation was conducted to study bio-efficacy different insecticides, widely used against major mustard crop. A variety Bio-902 sown twenty-seven plots 2× 2 m2 at agronomy farm Sri Karan Narendra College Agriculture, Jobner, India during Rabi season 2020-21. total nine treatments including an untreated control group with three replications were investigated a randomized block design (RBD). data recorded for aphid population and seed yield each treatment. Imidacloprid 40% + Fipronil (10 g/kg seed) found significantly effective followed by seed), Clothianidin Thiamethoxam (5 seed). ranking based on be similar trend observed treatments. helps protect emerging plant from insects until they become more resilient. Method doses pesticides are deciding factor bio efficacy pesticides.

Persistence of new insecticides and their efficacy against insect pests of okra.
Persistence and efficacy of bifenthrin (25 and 50 g ai ha(-1)), fipronil (50 and 100 g ai ha(-1)) and indoxacarb (70 and 140 g ai ha(-1)) has been studied in okra fruits. The initial deposits varied from 0.259-0.382 microg g(-1) at low and 0.461-0.688 microg g(-1) at high rate of application. The residues persisted upto 10 days with half-life of 1.32-1.58 days for bifenthrin, 0.65-1.12 days for...
متن کاملEfficacy of Selected Insecticides Applied to Hybrid Rice Seed
Hybrid rice and insecticide seed treatments targeting rice water weevil, Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus Kuschel, have altered the landscape of rice production. The effect of reduced seeding rates on seed treatment efficacy in hybrid rice has not been studied. During 2011 and 2012, an experiment was conducted at seven locations to determine the relationship between low seeding rates used in hybrid ri...
متن کاملSeed Proteinase Inhibitors from Annual Medics Active against Insect Pests
11-19 ABSTRACT Several different species of annual medics have been tested for the occurrence and concentration of trypsin inhibitors in the seed. Trypsin Inhibitory Activity (TIA) has been in fact related to the level of resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses. Wide variation was found for TIA among species, with the highest values shown by the snail medic (Medicago scutellata). After a simp...
متن کاملAlternatives to Chemical Control of Insect Pests
In 2011, practitioners and advocates of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) find themselves addressing agricultural, societal, and political pressures worldwide resulting from human population growth. This growth brings simultaneous burdens of sustaining a steady food supply; these include preventing losses from pests, dealing with increased human global travel, which in turn intensifies opportuni...

Introduction: Malaria is still an important health problem in southern Iran. Anopheles stephensi is one of the most important vectors of malaria, especially in urban areas. Because of long time of chemical insecticides against vectors in endemic areas and their potential resistance to such chemicals, it is necessary that vectors continuously to be assessed against susceptibility level. We...
